Town Program

In the early days, before there were any accommodations in the estancias, our fishing trips consisted of staying in nice inns in town, from where we drove to remote spots in rivers and lakes in the area to fish either by wading or on float trips. This ran very successfully for more than a decade and it only started undergoing change when accommodations started being offered in the different estancias next to each river.

However, while many people started favoring the estancia accommodations, others kept choosing to stay in the cute mountain village of San Martin de los Andes, benefiting from the different amenities and attractions that this involves, while still enjoying the classic Patagonian fishing experience.

Our town program offers a variety of the best accommodations in town including superb lunches by the rivers or great dinners in our best restaurants. Each day you'll be driven from town to the various fishing stretches in the area, guided by professional guides who will look after all your needs and care for you as much as you do.

Our town program may include stretches of the Chimehuín, the Malleo, the Aluminé, the Collon Cura or the Caleufu, to name some rivers. The fishing programs are adjusted to fishing conditions according to each different time during the season.

Our town program can be offered by itself or in combination with our other fishing destinations.
